Kulfi, a beloved traditional Indian frozen dessert, offers a creamy texture and rich flavors. Here's a recipe for a no-cook, instant version of Kulfi.


Ingredients


To make the perfect kulfi, gather these ingredients:


  • 1 cup of heavy cream

  • 6 tablespoons of sugar (optional)

  • 1/2 can (400 grams) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 pinch saffron

  • A handful of pistachios/cashews

  • A few strands of saffron (optional)

  • Rosewater/ rose extract (optional)


Step-by-steps

  1. Whisk heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  2. Add condensed milk (optional sugar and flavor extracts) to the heavy cream, mix until thick.

  3. Ground saffron and pistachios/cashews into fine powders. Mix into the cream/milk mixture.

  4. Pour into molds.

  5. Decorate with nuts and saffron.

  6. Freeze the kulfi before serving!
