Egg Custard: Simple Elegance

This quick egg custard recipe is designed to wow your next dinner guests.


Ingredients


  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup sugar (save a few teaspoon to sprinkle on top)

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/rose extract (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmet (optional)


Step-by-steps

  1. Whisk all ingredients together, pour into oven-safe custard cups

  2. Place cups in a baking pan, fill the pan with water until the water reaches 3/4 of the height of the cups.

  3. Bake in 350 Farenheight for 25 minutes (or until the custard is set)

  4. Sprinkle sugar on top.

  5. Bake in 350 Farenheight for 5 minutes (or until the sugar is golden brown)

  6. Cool before serving!
